ABOUT US

AdaptABLE was founded in 2020 in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic with the goal of maintaining access to care for individuals using specialty equipment for mobility, ADL's, and positioning. Our mission remains, and we now span throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.

In addition to our Wheelchair Clinic, we have expanded to a multidisciplinary consulting practice of physical, occupational, and speech therapy providers who are exceptionally knowledgeable in their recommendations across several settings. Our focus is evaluating individuals for the most appropriate equipment, environment set-up recommendations, and implementing communication tools, all with the associated family and caregiver training.  As this is the primary aspect of care our therapists are involved in, we are able to provide expert, pinpointed service in this enormous aspect our patients' lives. We do not currently provide direct treatment services, but empower independence to the greatest extent possible through recommendations and training.
